- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently, I am working towards my Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership. I only have a few classes left! Leadership ability is SO very important when trying to motivate people.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had always been "jealous" of people who knew their passion and were able to follow it. I was always frustrated at the people who knew their passion but let fear prevent them from chasing after it. I never knew my passion until recently. I had always had several business ideas but it wasn't until recently I had an awakening to what all of those business ideas had in common.... Motivating others. As someone who chose to be a positive statistic rather than a negative one, I never let the fact that my Mother was a crack head an a prostitute and that I don't even know my dad's name dictate who I was or what i was going to be. I always knew I was meant for greatness and I have now found my passion and my purpose. Not being a negative statistic was something that I never even questioned.. I just did but I also realize that most other people have greater struggles with that type of thing. I just want to help them. I want to motivate people to be better people, better employees, better co-workers, better parents and spouses.. the list goes on and on. I know that there is greatness inside everyone and it makes me so happy when I am able to help people to discover what that is. I began meditating and have asked for revelation as to what my life purpose is and this is what has been slowly revealed to me (kind of like a puzzle).
- What types of customers have you worked with?
While the primary jobs I have done for my clients consist of speaking at corporate events and functions, I have also worked with individual teams inside of companies as well to motivate them when larger scale changes occur or just to stay on track with projects. I have also had the opportunity to work with community groups and at community events.
