I've just had the pleasure of working with Steve Damato. He returned my phone calls promptly, showed up when he said he would, and did a beautiful repair job on a structural beam in my 100 year old farm house in the proposed amount of time. Both he and his Master Carpenter have a great work ethic and are knowledgeable, neat, and thorough professionals. I look forward to working with Steve again and highly recommend him.

Steve and his crew did a fantastic thorough job replacing old fascia board, soffit and fixing a mess left by a previous contractor (roofer). The house is sealed tight with a professional paint job around the perimeter. I am grateful to have found Steve and appreciate his hard work; he is the most efficient worker that I've hired and really understands the job at hand. No shoddy work by the Straight-up Home Improvement crew--I would trust them with any job, and Steve is a down to earth and honest man. Thanks!!!!!

Steve and his crew are beyond wonderful. After two major renos, a kitchen and a bath, we have not one complaint. Steve treats the job as if working on his own house. Everything must be perfect. he went above and beyond, going all over the area to find the best granite slab for our shower seat. Straight Up Home Imp. is the only crew I want working at our house.

We found Steve Damato through Thumbtack. He came out to my house very promptly and gave me an extremely fair and reasonable estimate for putting in a new vanity that included removing the old one and doing the plumbing. They did the service that was included in the deal but also fixed two areas where water was seeping in as well as replaced and repaired the plumbing to fit my toilet with expertise I have not seen in any contractor I have used to date. Steve is honest and very motivated to do the best job possible while trying to save your money! He is an outstanding contractor, and a truly good person you can trust! I will call on Straight UP Home Improvement for all of my home/house needs from now on!! We also want to mention Mike the plumber as well, he was so very determined and consciencious to do a great job and did that and more & the two work together as a wonderful team! There are no negatives with this company and I am a really picky woman!!!

Stephen and his men are lifesavers!! I originally contacted straight up home improvement for a quote to add deck space before my small, fast approaching wedding, that had some how doubled in size. When Stephen came he was excited, polite, and professional. We even had the lady from lowes show up while he was still there for her quote, and she let me know that we were in good hands with him because he takes care of his customers! Anyways, back to our deck wedding... While Stephen was taking a measurement of the area we wanted to extend we asked him his professional opinion of how many people our already existing deck could safely hold. On inspection of our existing deck there were SEVERAL things that were not up to code and down right dangerous. One of the columns was actually bowing, and he very knowledgeably broke down all of the areas that needed reinforcement to make this deck safe to hold 40 people in the three weeks that my wedding would be. He gave us a rough quote that day, and went on his way to let me and my then fiance discuss it. We of course knew that it had to be fixed and fixed soon to prevent a massive catastrophe! We called him the next day and he was so relieved to get our call because he was so worried about the stability of our deck. He then fit us into his busy schedule coming on weekends and intermittent days to make sure it was done before our guests arrived. All of his workers seemed good hearted and jovial, and we're very considerate when we asked them to keep the noise down because we Airbnb an apt that was right inside from the area they were working. Stephen even went out of his way to help us with some odd jobs like caulking and hanging swings to help us get ready for the big day! All together this was a great experience, and we will definitely be using Stephen and his men for any and all upcoming projects that we have!
