- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pure Tree Care appears to be a relatively new company and yet, in reality, we were founded over twenty-five years ago in Scotland, where we traded as Abraxas Tree Care, an award-winning enterprise. When we emigrated to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with its extraordinary abundance of trees and unique climate, we felt drawn, if not compelled, to return to our roots and establish a new tree service business. And so Pure Tree Care was born. Why did we call ourselves this? Trees are natural and fresh, and of course essential to our lives and survival. What’s more, tree care is often dangerous, challenging work and requires expert arborists who are pure specialists. Unlike many of our competitors, we deal uniquely in tree care and leave landscaping and yard maintenance to others. This ensures our overheads are low meaning we can offer our customers value that is highly competitive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will ask to come and view the work and meet the client so we can understand the precise requirements. From this, a description of work is created and a price offered.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our family-owned business offers the highest levels of customer care and safe working practices. This is reflected in Mark’s enviable qualifications: BSc Hons in Forestry from The University of Edinburgh NPC Professional tree climbing/felling IRATA Level 1,2&3 Rope Access MSc from Columbia University, New York, US We are fully insured for $2m.
