I'm not a regular drinker, but I was feeling adventurous and wanted to try something new. Nothing on the menu sounded to my liking and I didn't want a basic rum and coke. I asked J for a recommendation for an "island-like vacation rum drink." And bam! Just as J made the drink, taste-tested it, and placed it in front of me I consumed it just as fast! I appreciate when bartenders understand their customers, provide excellent service, and are knowledgeable of what's on (and off) their menu. Definitely will become one of J's regulars.
