- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Chef Daniels graduated from Johnson and Wales with his culinary degree and was managing restaurants with Darden and Marriott, but these positions did not give him the opportunity to launch his own menu. Together with his fiance - who has a MBA from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill - they launched Street Spice. It was a fit for giving Chef Daniels the platform to design and share his own menu and a fit for the professional experience of his fiance, Brooke. It has been quite the journey and experience since then, and we've received overwhelming support from Charlotte and surrounding areas!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
We're a gourmet food truck and really try to bring a unique experience to every event. Some people think a food truck means fast food, which is definitely not true. We offer fresh, high quality food that you would find at a restaurant. We work very hard to ensure high quality and a fun experience.
