Homestead Renovation & Landscaping

This is Matt, the owner of Homestead Renovation. I would really like to address this. First of all this individual DID NOT hire us. We give a hiring contract to be signed once an estimate is agreed upon. We could not even give an estimate because we did not know the scope of work needed to be done until an in house consultation was given. We drove almost 2 hours out of our way to go over everything for almost an hour with this individual. Measurements were taken, plans were discussed and even changed. Materials were calculated and I had an idea for a quote. I told them I would get back to them with everything. We had other quotes and in house estimates to give beforehand that week. I told him again them I would have it ready for him on Sunday, but did not even give me until noon on Sunday before writing this review, thus deciding that we would not be hired. We are only a 2-man company and do lots of traveling just to give estimates and go over things with clients before we are even hired for a job. Half of our clientele is not even on thumbtack. We always respond to every client and try to provide professional service however sometimes quotes can take up to a few days. I will not apologize for a contract that was not signed when an estimate wasn't even given a chance.
