FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My services start at $100/hr, with tiered packages for all event types. I offer three core packages—Push Play, The Ramp, and G8R Drop—ranging from $300 to $1,000+. These include gear, playlist customization, and MC services depending on the level. I don’t charge travel fees for events within Charlotte or nearby areas. Discounts are available for weekday or recurring gigs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step one is communication—I’ll ask about the vibe you want, what music you love, and how you envision the energy flowing throughout your event. From there, I’ll suggest the best package and send over a quick agreement. We lock in the date, I prep your custom playlist and crates in Serato, and on the day, I handle everything from setup to final drop.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been DJing since 2014 and running my own business since 2015. Before that, I was a self-taught drummer starting in 2002. My early training in rhythm and performance helps me read crowds and deliver transitions that hit. I use industry-standard equipment like the Denon Prime 4 and Pioneer SRT 1000, and mix live using Serato DJ Pro.
