Left Turn Dog Training has been training dogs and working with animals for over 7 years. Our unique training system stays away from traditional correctional training methods that lead to unhappy dogs and unhappy owners. Our system doesn't compromise your pet's attitude!

I rescued a 1 year old mutt and we have both benefited greatly from this training! Emma is an amazing trainer she walks you through everything and explains why a tactic will work and how it works. I have loved my experience and definitely recommend this training course!

My consultation was awesome. She was thorough and explained the difference of traditional training versus what they offer. Her dogs were onsite to demonstrate what i would be getting. Finally she was on time.

Emma helped take our 9 month old puppy Bear, from an over excited spazz to being able to have control of his emotions and get the interaction he so wants. Before, we tried treat based training and positive reinforcement with little results. With Emma, we were equipped with training knowledge that been long lasting and has helped both in the home and out in public. We can take bear for walks without fear of him pulling toward everyone or every dog and even let him off leash without fear of him bolting. Bear has a better understanding of his impulses which now allows him to enjoy life even more! I highly recommend Left Turn DogTraining for your dogtraining family!

We haven’t started training yet but feel so good about Left Turn DogTraining. We had a consultation with Emma, and it gave us so much relief. We have a 11mos mixed hound and a 9 yr standard poodle, and we signed both of them up for training. We can’t wait and feel that we’re in the best hands possible.

What an incredible company with incredible people to work with whom I genuinely consider friends and great trainers. From the start, Emma was so adaptable to my schedule, assisting where needed as my puppy continued to grow and learn, always respond to frantic texts about puppy/teenage-hood, and brought on an INCREDIBLE additional trainer Savannah. I did not know what I was getting when I signed my contract with Left Turn, but wow I was blown away with both Emma and Savannah. If you’re looking for a world class training company who only employs knowledgeable, thoughtful, particular, positive, funny, dog-loving, and valuable people - this will be it for you. Cannot recommend this team enough and cannot wait to watch them continue to grow. (PS - if you’re looking for quality custom collars and leashes, they also have you covered!)

We have a wide range of prices to fit everyone's budget. Even customizing programs for specific budget needs!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before we take on any new client we start with a FREE consultation. This is both so you have a chance to meet us and for us to meet you. In order to get the best results we will have to work together and want that experience to be amazing for you and your pet!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Did you know in the dog training world there are no set standards? One of the biggest tricks trainers will use to get your business is to claim they have been certified by a training school or training service. Be careful these mean nothing! This is why we demonstrate our results for any new client before needing to even sign up for a program. We want to make sure you have complete confidence in our results!
