Combat Self Defense Martial Arts

Introduction: Martial arts have experienced an explosion of popularity since the 70s, and with that has come a flood of dojos, doctrines, and schools of thought on the subject. There is also a wide spectrum concerning the application of martial arts, ranging from visual art to sports to practical self-defense and combat. It is hard to sift through all of the information sometimes, and easy to confuse one application to another. I seek to provide a clear and concise pathway to practical self-defense, relying on the philosophy and traditions that have made martial arts so successful for thousands of years. Martial art is my passion. Across all of its forms is a universal arc that can applied to all aspects of life, with practices in the mental, physical, and spiritual realms of the human experience. I practice so that I can have a more complete life.
