Carter's work was very professional. When he first came to our home to give my wife and I an estimate I was very impressed with his pleasant way of talking with you. He has such a humble spirit and every time you see him he always have that signature smile of his and positive energy. Carter is very thorough with his work and will take that extra time to go back and make some adjustments if he feels he's not satisfied with the final outcome of the project he's working on. Out of 3 estimates I received Carter's estimate was the cheapest and I felt it was a very good and reasonable estimate based on what I wanted done. I have a contractor that's a very good friend of mine and he was suppose to have done the work for me but he was tied up with a big job he was working on, my contractor who's done work on our homes for years has always been about the the most reasonable priced contractor I've run across in years. But surprisingly Carter's price was cheaper and I saved a $100 going with Carter as opposed to waiting on my contractor to finish the job he was working on. The quality of Carter's work is outstanding in my opinion and was very pleased and satisfied once work was finished. I kind of felt bad and told my wife I at least have to tip Carter half of the $100 he saved me bcoz I always thought my contractor was the most reasonable and cheapest I knew. I would suggest to anyone that needs some work done around their home definitely use Carter bcoz his work is professional, quality work, very personable young man, punctual, prices are very reasonable, and he will make sure everything in your home is neatly cleaned up and back in the proper place. Carter will be doing some work on my deck soon if we continue to have warm temperatures, I told him if not soon definitely when the weather gets warmer again the first of the new year. Carter I apologize for taking long to write up my review on you as I promised I would, I hadn't forgot I was out of town for while taking care of some family matters. Mr. Carter is a HARD worker with a great personality he allways does quality work. He planted a garden for me, fixed a ceiling fan,installed a faucet in my kitchen, and moved some furniture. Hes very punctual which is great for me because i have a CRAZY work schedule but he really trys to work with me in any way he can. So if you want professional, quality work give him a call😊

I would highly recommend Carter's Your Handyman to anyone. He installed my entry door and painted it for me. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the service. He was extremely nice and his quality of work is outstanding. I will definitely use him for future projects. I suggest you use him if you work high quality work completed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge by the hour but some jobs may call for a flat rate depending on the job situation. I also provide discounts to anyone living in the 28227 area code and frequent customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with the person over the phone to make sure I have a complete understanding of the job that is needed to be completed. After that we will schedule a time frame that will work best for the customer. Once I arrive on site the customer will walk and show me around to all work areas and we will discuss everything that needs to be completed. I want to make sure the customer knows everything that I will be doing and is okay with the process.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Working as an apprentice doing home improvement with my best friend's dad. Since then I have found a passion for handyman work.
