Thumbtack only allows me to select 3 of 5 things I like about Alan/Simply Handy Services. I’d like to make it 5 for 5 and include Value and Punctuality. Alan installed two hoists in my garage. The first was a Garage Gator allowing me to hang up to 8 bikes clearing up a ton of floor space in my garage. The second hoist was a Partsam I ordered from Amazon capable of holding 1300 pounds. I only use it for my wife’s Jeep’s hardtop right now, but it looks great and I know it’s safe. My garage ceilings are 12 feet high and Alan even reinforced a couple of joists above the ceiling because they weren’t exactly 24 inches apart (I’ll take that up with the developer). That said he did a great job in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. I will again reach out to Alan in the fall. I expect to have a few ceiling fans that need to be installed and possibly have him stain my deck. Looking forward to working with him again.

Alan did a great job removing our old garbage disposal and replacing it with a wiring new one. He also add a outlet box so we could we actually plug the new disposal in instead of keeping it hardwired. He was timely and professional. Will use him on future projects
