We need patching on our bathroom walls, including water damage repair and installation of a new exhaust fan. Steve did a wonderful job The walls turned out to be plaster, but he left them looking terrific and ready for the painter. He even took down some broken fixtures from the walls so he could patch those areas too. Steve was professional, and we're entirely satisfied with his work. We'll be hiring him again soon for another project.

Steve came over to install curtain rods on three windows, two of which were corner windows. I had also asked him to remove a partially-detached towel bar in a bathroom. He arrived right on time and got right to work. He tackled the towel bar issue first so that he was able to put two coats of plaster on before leaving, which means that I just need to do a very light sanding and then repainting on my own. The curtain rods turned out great, too! My walls are plaster, and had either brick or steel behind them in certain places, so the job had a few challenges. Also, it's an old building, and the resultant settling meant that he had to make some slight allowances for the positioning of the brackets so that the curtains hung evenly. Steve was great at helping me think through how close I wanted the rods to extend across the window frame, given that the windows were on located near/at the room corners. For the corner windows, he suggested placing the inside brackets halfway across the rod, so that the curtain panels would be spaced more evenly and would fall better. The finials on my rods were small, but Steve allowed enough space on the end window to allow for larger finials, without hitting up against the right angle wall. Given the technical expertise required on this job, as well as his design and planning thoughts, I am very grateful to have had Steve come over and get the job done!

Steve installed two 4'x8' overhead garage storage racks for me. He did a great job despite several obstacles, such as our studs not running in a straight line, and most of the hardware missing from the second rack. I was able to make a quick run to Lowes to get the needed hardware while Steve continued to work on the racks he had. He also helped me load all of our boxes and items onto the racks afterward, as it was a surprise for my husband. A job which he thought would take about 4 hours ended up taking 7, with a cost of $283.00. I would recommend Steve's company to anyone needing work done around their home.

I graduated from college with a BS in Business Finance. I worked in corporate America for 20 years before deciding to follow my passion for building and architecture. I earned my General Contracting License 10 years ago and am a member of several industry organizations that provide continuing education.
