- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is important to know that for a typical two story home can vary greatly in price. This depends on the materials being used, the level of prep work required, and complexity of the job. This is why we do a detailed written estimate, to confirm you are getting exactly what you want. We can provide multiple options you can compare side by side.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with the estimate: we provide a free in-home estimate. During that process, we make sure to walk around with you to identify areas of concern or focus. Then we make sure to provide a detailed written proposal that highlights all the requirements of the job (materials, colors, etc.) as well as all the soft requirements: which doors to use or not use, when your pets are outside, and what times are the least disruptive. When the time comes to paint, we make sure to communicate daily about 1) what's going to get done and 2) what ultimately was completed. Open and transparent communication is the most important way for us to make painting your home as painless as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've gone through a thorough training process with Main Street, a company that helps individuals start painting companies. The process included 1:1 coaching and training on how to run a successful paint job, an introduction to technology, customer service certified management and more. We make sure the work is done professionally every time! Our painters have many years experience painting. If we have a painter with minimal experience, they are paired with an experienced painter.
