- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge flat rates for as much as much work as I can. Keep it simple straightforward and upfront.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I learned to work on lawnmowers as a young boy. Honestly, five years ago if you told me I'd be doing this again, i would have laugh my tail off. But, a couple years ago my job in the finance industry went away (forever) and I had to figure out a way to make money. Once I got back into it, I found that there is an incredible demand for small engine service and repair.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Even if you think your lawn mower is junk, call me before you push it out to the curb. Very often, it can be fixed cheaper and faster than you would imagine.
