Tim and his team did an outstanding job with a complicated move and problem solved with me for the best outcome. They carefully wrapped my furniture and everything made it safely to the new place. We had a great experience. We moved a 4 bedroom 1920 sq ft home, one story into a 2500 sq ft home, two story. It took them about 8 hours.
The only issue I had was coordinating the time. We agreed to 9a in the app. The day before they said 8a. We reached out twice the morning of, and they said it’s a window of 8a-9a. They were late, and showed up at 915/930a.

I can’t say enough good things about John Frank Moving Company. I had another moving company cancel on me 24 hours prior to my move which put me in a really bad spot. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because the guys at John Frank gave me the best moving experience I’ve ever had (coming from someone who has moved 10+ times).
They were able to confirm availability almost instantly and their reservation/pricing process was really smooth and streamlined. Their prices were more competitive than most companies I’ve seen and the value was through the roof. They showed up right on time on move-out day and were extremely efficient while still being extra careful with all my belongings. Nothing broke and they finished moving me out of a 3br house and into a 4br home within 4 hours.
I can’t recommend them enough and will only be using them in the Charlotte area moving forward. I highly recommend you do the same if you are on the fence on who to use!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The only positive part of this experience was the contact center representative, who was responsive and quick to communicate. Other than that, this was one of the most stressful and unprofessional moving experiences I’ve ever had.
Our moving window was scheduled from 1 PM to 3 PM. The driver initially called and said they would arrive around 2:30 PM, but the arrival time kept getting pushed back because they were delayed at a previous job. Then it turned into accident on the road and they was delayed due to traffic. We waited at the pickup location for over 4 hours trying to be patient and understanding.
We booked 2 movers for 2 hours because we did not have a large move and we thought they could have it done within that time frame. However, the movers worked extremely slow, didn’t attempt the second location, broke our property, failed to clean up after themselves, and then attempted to charge us for the extra time they caused. We ended up having to help move our own stuff just to speed things along.
What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of professionalism and accountability. When we expressed concerns about how slow the process was going, they became argumentative instead of addressing the issue. They even tried to blame us for our fireplace being damaged because they said we didn’t help, even though we hired movers specifically to do the job. And if they felt that they needed the help they could have simply asked.
One of the movers, a 19-year-old named Tim, was especially disrespectful. He used multiple F-bombs during an argument with us and stated that he was “not going to overwork himself because we needed the move completed at certain time.” He also called us broke saying that we was rushing the process because we did not want to pay for the additional time. And said since we was rushing the move we could had done it ourselves.
His partner eventually had to tell him to apologize before he later came to the door and apologized.
Hiring movers is supposed to reduce stress during an already exhausting process, but these two movers made the experience far more stressful than it needed to be. It is disappointing because the company has good reviews, but based on our experience, I would strongly recommend booking at your own risk.

We had a great experience. They were able to help me on very short notice, and everyone was professional, efficient, and careful with my belongings. I was especially impressed with how they organized and stacked everything in my storage unit to maximize the space while keeping it accessible. Their attention to detail really stood out. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers.
