The variety of customers we interact with are very polite and pleasant. At the end of a Smart Move USA move it is very satisfying to witness the look of relief and happiness on the customer's faces that their new residence is fully furnished. Also, knowing they can spend their first night in the new residence. An having the customer realize that the stress of moving day has been removed from their worries allowing them to enjoy there new home. These guys handled an extremely difficult move with an incredibly amazing attitude. My entire apartment (3rd floor townhome to third floor walk up) was done within hours and I had a stingy sleeper couch that literally couldn't fit through the door (previous movers had put a hole in the wall trying). Jeff and his team told me that i wouldnt pay a dime until they completed the job- couch and all- and they delivered on that promise - going above and beyond to get the couch to my new place in one piece. Incredibly kind, professional crew and a clear commitment to quality of work. Would recommend them for anyone!

The crew arrived on time. They were very professional and it was a pleasure to work with them. They disassembled, wrapped, reassembled everything and completed the move efficiently without damaging a single item. I would recommend these movers over any other company!

These gentlemen did an excellent job, moved us out of one house and into another with a four day delay. nothing broken, nothing damaged. Unloaded at the last house during the hurricane, not one complaint!

Our family we very pleased with the service Smart Move provided on our difficult move from a 3rd floor apartment and 2 storage units at another location to our new house across the state. Jeff was responsive to all of my calls and messages and the whole crew was prompt, courteous and thoughtful. Our furniture pieces were wrapped well and carefully loaded and unloaded. Even though it was a very long day and the temperature was pushing 100, the guys worked nonstop and continually asked what else they could do help. I would recommend Smart Move USA to anyone needing assistance with a move.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Smart Move USA's pricing is very attractive and affordable. As stated we meet or exceed all the NC Movers Associations. If you searching to hire professionals Smart Move USA is you solution. Our pricing varies depending on the scale of the job. Again, this depends on the complexity of the move and the location. Example, an apartment move on the first floor will be less expensive then if the apartment is located on the third or fourth floor. This distance of the move will also have an effect on the cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Personally, I like to meet with the customer in person with my Operations Manager to complete a walk though of the residence to ensure the quote provided is accurate at least a couple days before the move. This also allows us to plan for any speical furniture they may own that will require special handling outside our normal operating procedures.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a member of the NC Movers Association they provide continuing updates and training classes for the members. We also provide training for new employee's by having our Operations Manager and Assistant Manager load and unload our storage unit that contains many antique items. The truck will be loaded and unloaded until it is done to our high company standards. This also allows us to know which canidates don't have the experince, skills or speed to become part of Smart Move USA's team.
