- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Phone Assessment 10 min | no charge During this call, you’ll tell me a little about your space organization/storage concerns. We’ll assess your needs and determine what services may benefit you. If agreed, we will move forward with scheduling an on-site consultation. On-Site Consultation 1 hr | $40 During this consultation, you’ll have more time to explain your living/working style and I can get a better idea of your needs. This visit will allow me to see the space(s) you want to address and to discuss a plan of decluttering/organizing tasks to provide peaceful spaces. The plan will include an estimate of how long the service will take and address how involved you want to be in the process. Once you’re comfortable with the plan, we will move forward with scheduling the first work day. Work Days (contact for hourly rate) On work days, I will come to the site and we will follow the organizing process. Based on your desire, I can work alone or we can work together. It is recommended that you take a hands-on part in the process to learn the systems needed to maintain organization. The length and number of work days will vary based on the size of the room, its present condition, and your available schedule. This process will include taking inventory of items in the space, sorting through and categorizing what will be kept and what will be removed, and assigning a home for each item kept. This process may also include common organizational techniques such as storage, labeling, and rearranging. All decisions are ultimately up to you and nothing will be done without your consent. Follow-up (additional charge for on-site) Within two weeks following the completion of the service, I will follow-up either via phone or on-site (your choice) to check on the maintenance of the new organizational system implemented.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I obtained an undergrad degree in psychology and a masters degree in marriage and family therapy. In my therapeutic work, I have worked with hoarders. Disorganization can easily make one prone to anxiety and depression. I enjoyed the experience so much that I began to pursue home organization. It is the experience of new found peace and joy that I love to see with my clients. An ordered space provides a great foundation for an ordered life.
