I decided that this time I was really going to Spring Clean! But all I really did was reorganize chaos! Then I ran across Kim Nelson on Nextdoor and decided to invite her in to take a look. I cringed and actually had stomach pains thinking that she was like those hoarding therapists on TV! But no, quite the opposite. She was organized, compassionate, understanding, and knowledgeable. She gently allowed me to access what I wanted from the space without insisting on her own systems. Her approach had me throwing more things away than she would have herself. I began to see, with fresh, organized eyes, what the transformed space could look like, and, with her assistance, my vision came to life. I have fewer unnecessary clothes, more stacks that make sense, and so many extra hangers! I love her accountability system for donations, which allowed me a second look before she gracefully carted them away. She even emptied "the trash," so I would not be tempted to retrieve those old shoes, you know, to use when it's raining! I recommend her because I closely observed her, and her techniques worked. What I wanted in my head, I can now see with my eyes. Thanks, Kim!
