Brian has been an exceptional personal trainer throughout the duration of my experience with him. He is extremely thorough in everything he does and did an incredible job of catering my personal workout plan to meet my needs and goals, while being considerate of some specific pain areas I am dealing with. One thing that has been really great about working with Brian, is that he has been able to design workout plans that I can do at home, even with extremely limited resources. He also gave me nutritional guidelines to follow that have helped me to lose weight. Overall, Brian is a really excellent trainer who will get the absolute best out of you and I would recommend him to anyone.

Personal Training

I've been working with Brian for a month and a half and find him to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, and focused on my health. I was concerned about starting training due to shoulder pain I was having and he took extra care to focus exercises on stretching my shoulders to improve that area. We're now working up to heavy weights. Brian comes prepared to every session with a tailored plan. He explains every exercise and focused on form while I'm working out. I've been extremely pleased with his training style, knowledge, and skill. Highly recommend!

Brian was able to work well with my personal fitness goals for both, sports, and aesthetics. The plans were extremely well developed to adapt to my current activity level, body weight, and prior workout experience. On top of the workout plans, Brian also aided in nutritional goals to help me stay healthy and fuel my body for the designated workouts.

Brian has been amazing. He is patient and kind. He asked tons of questions to make sure he was giving me the right exercises. The exercise regimen he gave me was easy to follow. He was very understanding that I have been sedentary for awhile and limited in movement due to physical limitations. I started this process with very low expectations, but the results have been amazing. I am actually able to do daily activities without pain. I would highly recommend him.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I offer FREE consultations, over the Phone, Skype, Zoom, or Face-to-Face at a convenient location or Intersect Fitness, Mathews. Individual Training (60 minute sessions) 4 sessions: $65 = $260 8 sessions: $60 = $480 12 sessions: $55 = $660 Partner Training per person (60 minute sessions) 4 sessions: $40 = $160 8 sessions: $35 = $280 12 sessions: $30 = $360 Group Training (60 minute sessions) Packages of 8: $30 per = $240

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First and foremost, I provide free consultations, to go over health/fitness goals and prior medical concerns that may contraindicate mobility patterns or levels of intensity. During our first few sessions, we will perform postural and fitness assessments. Additional fitness tests based on specificity. After the initial testing and screening, we will begin a detailed exercise routine periodizing workouts from week to week and month to month. These workouts will focus on functional movement patterns, cardiovascular health, behavioral change techniques, and general nutritional guidance as well as specific exercise (e.g. Sports conditioning, Occupational, Mobility & Flexibility).

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Behavioral Psychology and marked knowledge in Neuroscience accredited by The Ohio State University. The mind-body connection plays a huge role in how your body reacts and adapts to exercise. Ones behavior toward exercise or lifestyle habits can be fine-tuned, transformed and tailored to work for you. I have been exercising myself for 8 years and have had many learning experiences on the way, whether it be with personal trainers, sports conditioning couches, dieticians or through my own research and practice. I have been a personal trainer for two years and had the privilege of working for Ohio State, where I attended many continuing education seminars as well as being provided with a wide variety of educational sources from the program itself. In addition, I have trained clients at their homes and within a training facility.
