FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have some standard pricing which is primarily based on my time. Since there are many types of shoots that I work on I prefer to talk to my clients about what they want done before I give them a solid quote. I try to be as upfront as I can with my cost so there is no surprise when its time to deliver the invoice. I don't like surprises when I receive a bill so I do my best with my clients to make sure they know everything they need to know before we shoot.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This is such an open question as each of my clients are very different. When I first meet a new client I do my best to get to know them as quickly and as casually as I can. More importantly, I look for common interest between us and from there we have a conversation and in the mean time we start shooting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree is Cinema and Commercial Photography. I spent a couple of years working for high end commercial photographers in Chicago before moving the Charlotte in 1997. I've been making my living as a photographer since the day I got out of school.
