They arrived within the 2 hour window with a courtesy call half prior. Josh and Caleb did a great job remember removing a bulky TV from our second floor. They worked quickly and safely removed the TV without any damage or incident. They were professional and courteous. I don't ever really do reviews, but I really feel compelled to in this situation. The service was just that good. First, a little background about why I hired Junkluggers of North Carolina: I was moving my family across the country, no easy task in itself. I also needed A LOT of construction waste removed. There was no way I could do both of these things at the same time, so I hired Junkluggers to, hopefully, take one big task off my hands. The service I received was just really beyond anything I could have expected. They were so good, my stress level shot waaaaay down about the whole move. Specifics: The initial quote was significantly lower than other. Once I selected Junkluggers, they had good communication throughout the process, so I knew exactly what to expect. I received a reminder in the days leading up to my appointment and a courtesy call approximately 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Upon their arrival, the two employees were extremely polite and eager to help. While they worked, I barely even noticed they were there, they worked diligently and quietly. They even picked up little scraps laying about and left the area much cleaner than I would have. After completing the work, they stuck to the quote, even though the job ended up being significantly larger than expected. Overall, I was amazed by the quality of service I received, and definitely recommend this company. If you are looking for someone to remove your junk, look no further! My family hired Junkluggers of North Charlotte long-distance to clean out a deceased relative’s Charlotte condo. Unfortunately, this relative was a hoarder and the job proved to be more than any of us realized. Junkluggers handled it with grace. They emptied this condo and removed the carpet, as well. Bryan, the owner, was very easy to communicate with and was always kind and professional. He responded promptly to all correspondence. When he saw that the job was going to take slightly longer than the original estimate, he contacted us before proceeding. He sent us detailed email updates, questions, and pictures when finished. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Our minimum fee is $95 (for a single item) and $515 to completely fill one of our 15 cubic yard dump trucks. This includes 2-hours of our time. * We offer a 10% discount for AAA members.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The Junkluggers is an alternative to traditional junk removal services. We are a charity driven and an eco-friendly junk removal service that will come to your home or business and lug away items you no longer want or need, for a fee. We charge by volume based on the space your items take up in our truck, not the time it takes to haul it away. ALL labor and dump fees are included in the price. We do all the work - you don’t even need to lift a finger aside to point to what you want our luggers to take away for you. When you book an appointment with us, we ask you to pick a convenient two-hour window for our team to arrive. We will call you 15-30 minutes before arrival to let you know we are on our way. When we do arrive, a team of two professional, well trained and friendly luggers will look at the items you want hauled away and provide you with a written estimate. If you are happy with that estimate we can remove the items right on the spot. We guarantee never to charge more than our estimated price, but will charge less if the truck is emptier than predicted. When the job is complete, you will be given a receipt with the final price. If appropriate, the team will perform a sweep up of the site, and you will be free of your junk. If we are able to donate any of your items, we will provide you with a tax deductible receipt for anything donated. A Junkluggers representative will call you in the next few days to follow up and make sure you were completely satisfied with our services.
