Ben was a true professional to work with. My lawn was a mess when he came to my door. I had weeds and bare spots all over my lawn. But by fall time him and his technicians made it the best looking house on the block!

I found out about Ben through this site and got in contact with him and he agreed to come over and give me an estimate for weekly servicing of my lawn. To be fair, he seemed very friendly and knowledgable and was patient enough to answer a ton of questions my husband had. We paid the initial charge of $80 for mowing our grass and trimming the bushes and trees. He told us that he would then do the weekly servicing for $35 (every Mondays). Well Monday came and no one showed up. I tried calling and no one picked up. My husband called and left a message and no one called back. The check I left under the doormat was obviously never picked up. Initially, I was a little hesitant to hire them because either Ben or his partner mentioned earlier in our phone conversation that they are based in Huntersville, and their preferred area of servicing would be there and we live in Charlotte. But, they said that that would not be a problem. So I went ahead and hired them. I don't know... maybe if we had signed a formal written contract, things would have turned out differently but I gave them a shot and it didn't work out. My biggest pet peeve is when people don't follow through as promised. If you couldn't or didn't want to service my lawn, then you should have just told us upfront, or like any mature adult called us back to let us know. Don't avoid our calls and messages, just let us know. We're reasonable people, we wouldn't have gotten upset. It probably was not worth it to drive all the way down for your one client here. I know how hard it is to try and grow your business while doing the actual work. It's exhausting. It's a 24/7 job, and as a former business owner I get it. I do appreciate all the advice you gave us on maintaining our lawn. I thought you guys did a decent job with our lawn and I think that people who live in the Huntersville area would be happy with your services if you show up regularly. I wish you guys no ill-will but overall was disappointed in how things turned out.
