- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing Guide: On site appointments: $90 per hour plus a travel fee. We are glad to come to you, the travel fees are as follows: Durham: $55-65 Chapel Hill: $65-75 Raleigh/Cary/Apex: $65-75 depending on distance Wake Forest/Garner: $75-85 Burlington: $65-75 *If the location is not listed, send us a message and we will let you know! For dropping off your computer at our office(appointment required): $95 flat diagnostic fee, which will be applied toward the labor of the repair. Most repairs are able to be completed for about $125 total. Once diagnosing the computer, we will contact you and let you know the repair estimate so you can decide whether or not to move forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Computer repair is a constant learning process, and I keep up with new technology through regular research and hands-on experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started learning about computers at an early age. I had the first PC in my house at age 12, and I had to learn how to fix it when something went wrong with it. When my family and friends realized I had a knack for computers, I became the go-to person for computer issues. Throughout high school and college I repaired dozens of computers, and I found that I really enjoyed helping people by doing so. Now, many years later, I still love working with computers and the people who need help with them.
