- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will ask you to send me an email briefly discussing your concerns and dog training issues. I will asses your needs and follow up with my procedures and how my training sessions are structured. We can proceed from there if you would like to set up your first consultation. This is not a substitute for training and no professional advice will be given.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified Dog Behaviorist (ACDBC) APDT IACP I have served clients as a dog care professional for over a decade. I've previously managed a large dog daycare, taught group training classes, give private dog training lessons, and most notably known for walking groups of 15 plus dogs which had me featured in several local newspapers! I am skilled canine behavior specialist who helps owners to become more confident with their dogs. Specializing in dog behavior modification, I use a scientific approach that is bolstered by dog psychology. Rather than simply covering up training issues, I work to identify the root causes of behavior, addressing the negative behavior and applying correct theories in order to reestablish the relationship between the dog and the owner. In this way, I guide owners toward comfortable leadership of their dogs. My experience includes challenging cases in which dogs suffered from severe aggression, fear, and anxiety. I've been mentored by a number of dog trainers and behaviorists, accruing more than 10,000 hours of hands-on experience in training along with incorporating his studies of applied learning theories.
