I met with Paul several times for plantar fasciitis and tarpal tunnel symptoms that I had struggled with for five years. I had already been to a podiatrist and physical therapist with limited and temporary relief. Most of the recommendations I had were focused on stretching. Paul identified a problem of hyper flexibility and gave me strengthing exercises as well as stretching and changes in gait. I started noticing a difference after just a few weeks of following his recommendations and exercises. Now after several months I have continued to experience almost complete relief from my foot pain and tingling. I can actually go walking with my kids more than once per week without "paying for it" later. :) Had a great experience overall and I especially appreciate his professionalism in working with me.

Paul is an excellent teacher at Cross Fit Chapel Hill. He takes the time to work closely with me on a daily basis. I have been working extensively on my mobility and his knowledge has been paramount in my improvement. I improved my squat position thanks to numerous exercise's that Paul recommended. In the four months I have been at Cross Fit, Paul has been extremely attentive and I would recommend his expertise to anyone at any skill level.

Paul was dedicated and effective in training my son, John, in the sport of rowing. Because of the work Paul did with John, he made the crew team and he'd never crewed in his life! Paul is friendly and supportive! I highly recommend him for personal training.

Paul has coached me in doing weightlifting. Right away he identified two of my biggest problems when working out. 1) I overthink my moves, 2) I am -was- not very flexible. Through different exercises he has helped me learn the proper techniques in order for me to understand what I should be doing, when, and how it should feel. By doing this I have been able to stop overthinking in the middle of an exercise, which usually just led to me failing. As to the flexibility Paul has helped me with different flexibility exercises, as well as with movements to help reduce muscle soreness from previous exercises. All of this in a very friendly, relaxed, and professional manner.
