FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most jobs are quoted by the square ft, taking into consideration how bad a shape it's in. & how long the task will take. (Means I usually have to go to job site before giving bid.) Experience has taught me how to estimate about 1/2 of the phone calls we receive, assuming the client has accurate measurements of what needs to be cleaned.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet customer at their property to be serviced. Do a walk around property with them, asking questions along the way. Explain what I'll be doing, how I'll be doing it, and answer all their questions pertaining to the service request. Fill out a quote request. Give this to them. Answer their questions. Ask for commitment and schedule service date that works for them and I.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We've been cleaning homes and businesses for 10+ years. I am on two blog sites for high & low pressure commercial washers. When I'm purchasing my cleaning supplies etc. I almost always learn tips there. I'm an avid reader of Pro-Power Wash monthly magazine. Took a course in the Spring of 2015 for Roof Washing Certification.
