FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Text/email I have found is the best way to get the conversation going
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Never passing up any opportunity, I take part of all flower shows and continuing education. I am also a voracious reader of all fashion, architecture, interior design, garden and all floral literature. I also hold a BA in History from Belmont Abbey College. As well as attending the Atlanta Market once a year to gain a sense of upcoming trends, I believe working everyday with flowers in every capacity affords me the most valuable experience. Experience is also gained by working with and for local wedding designers over the years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am truly blessed I have always wanted to be a florist. It is my dream job. The opportunity arose to buy Talley's Florist in 2009 and I seized upon it.
