FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Public speaking coaching is customized based on what you're preparing for and how much support you need. Some clients need one focused session to prepare for an upcoming presentation, interview, speech, or important meeting. Others want multiple sessions to improve their confidence, delivery, storytelling, presentation structure, and overall speaking ability. Tell me what you're preparing for, and I'll recommend the best option based on your goals. Virtual coaching is available, and in-person coaching may also be available depending on location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is simple and customized around what YOU need. First, tell me what you're preparing for and where you feel you need the most help. It could be an upcoming presentation, keynote, courtroom appearance, board meeting, wedding toast, interview, pitch, or simply becoming more confident speaking in front of people. From there, we'll identify the areas that will make the biggest difference. Depending on your goals, we may work on your content, structure, storytelling, confidence, delivery, body language, audience engagement, or practice the actual presentation together. Most importantly, you'll get an opportunity to practice and receive direct, practical feedback you can immediately use.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from North Carolina State University and a Master's Degree from Liberty University but much of my expertise comes from actually doing this work. Throughout my career, I've delivered more than 500 paid presentations, both virtually and in person, and have delivered three TEDx talks. I've presented for corporations, colleges, associations, conferences, nonprofits, government organizations, and other audiences across the United States and Canada. I've also taught thousands of people through workshops, webinars, online trainings, and live presentations and have coached and mentored other speakers. I bring those years of real-world experience into every coaching session. My goal isn't to teach you public speaking theory. It's to help you become better at actually doing it.
