- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Packing, unpacking and organizing costs $50 an hour for the first 10 hours, then $45 for the next 10, and $40 from then on out. A combined pack and move receives a discount of 5%, and a combined, pack, move, and unpack receives a 7.5% discount. We also provide referral discounts!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I find myself always reading up about developments in the Alzheimer's research community, this helps the team understand our clients and make the move approachable and less scary for some aging clients. I also read heavily on organization strategies for small apartments and how to make the most of a new space.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We mostly assist seniors moving into assisted living or retirement homes, and help them pack, unpack and downsize. Typically a house clean out occurs for those clients wanting to put their old homes on market. We always donate to centers the client has a strong belief and affiliation with, such as veteran centers and church centers.
