⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible Service!
I cannot say enough great things about Giant Head Moving! We hired them to move my daughter into her Duke dorm, and they were AMAZING.
They were punctual, professional, courteous, upbeat, and came fully prepared with the equipment needed to get the job done. And this was NOT an easy move — three flights of stairs with no elevator, more than 20 moving bags, totes, a desk hutch, vanity, refrigerator, and plenty more!
What impressed me most was how respectfully they treated my daughter. They asked her how she wanted her furniture arranged and made sure everything was exactly where she wanted it. That meant so much to me as a parent.
And somehow, they got everything up three flights of stairs and into her room in RECORD TIME — all while being friendly and positive!
I am SO glad I found Giant Head Moving. They made what could have been a stressful college move-in incredibly easy. We will absolutely be using them for all of our Duke move-ins and move-outs from now on.
Five stars without hesitation! Highly recommend — especially to fellow college parents!

I couldn't have asked for a better job the men started at 8:00 worked straight through to 6:00 took a 30 minute break and never slowed down even in the rainstorm.. they moved over 300 boxes and furniture, for our retail store. if we ever need another move we will definitely call them, thanks a lot guys!

Very organized, reasonable & professional. Moved one bedroom apartment in 4-5 trips loading and unloading the truck. Won’t waste anytime from their side if the customer is well prepared & organized. Hired for moving 110 miles trip (one way ) and they took total of 5 1/2 hrs which included loading, driving and unloading.. Very satisfied and will hire again in near feature.

Our standard moving labor rate is $75 per hour with a 2-hour minimum for a 2-man crew. For larger or heavier moves, we also offer 3-man crews for increased efficiency. If needed, we can coordinate moving trucks as well, with flat-rate fee for most local moves. We aim to keep all pricing straightforward, fair, and transparent with no hidden fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by gathering the move details, including move size, locations, stairs, elevators, truck needs, and scheduling preferences. From there, we coordinate the crew and logistics, confirm the details ahead of move day, and stay in communication throughout the process to ensure the move runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our experience comes from hands-on moving, furniture handling, loading and unloading, customer service, and coordinating moves efficiently and safely. We focus heavily on proper lifting, protecting furniture, time management, and maintaining professionalism throughout the entire moving process.
