FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) I provide a link to a comprehensive on-line new client on-boarding form which allows the client to provide guidance around: General business info, Background, Brand Identity, Design Preferences, Content Management and Other. (Don't worry if you don't have some of this info) 2) I will come back with any clarifying questions 3) Based on the guidance provide in the on-boarding document I will build out a home page for client review. We then edit / tweak until client approves the overall them look and feel. 4) I build out the rest of the site. Client will have the ability to log in and see progress during the entire build 5) Once client signs off of the final build I hand off the controls or hang around in the background for site updates - their choice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20+ years in corporate marketing communications and have worked for Fortune 400 as well as privately held firms. I have been in website design business since 2001.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first site was built for my church, because A) They didn't have one and B) I wanted to try my hand at it. That was a long time ago and my skills have improved and technology has changed. The only difference is that back then, a professional web presence was a luxury. Today, it's mandatory. Let me get you on-line.
