Sia and his crew refinished our wood floors two years ago and did an excellent job in a very timely fashion. The main level floors weren't cared for since the early 1940's, when the house was built, and were in bad shape. But they brought them back much better than we imagined possible. Also, we had them finish the attic floor which was untouched pine and they did a wonderful job; the two bedrooms we created there are beautiful, in part, because of the floor and steps Grimes Floor Service re-finished. I rarely give rave reviews to companies, but in this case it is well-deserved,

Grimes Floor Service matched the existing hardwood in our entry, dining, and living room to new hardwoods they installed in our kitchen. The new floor is beautiful, and it's hard to believe it wasn't installed at the same time as the original. Grimes Floors are professional, do exactly what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it, and do it neatly and precisely. Highly recommend!

I wanted old carpet replaced with hardwood flooring throughout the living room, hall and 3 bedrooms in my new house. Sid showed up as promised to provide a quote (another had come early and missed me by minutes...that company would not return that day...very bad business practice!) Sid gave me some ideas, showed some samples, and we decided on a number of different ones for which i would get a quote. I found one that worked a we scheduled it immediately. No problems at all w the install. It all happened on time and with good communication. His workers were nice and friendly when i checked on the work. They took all my old flooring away, left the house in good shape (the dust was annoying from the cutting, but i guess cannot be helped when cutting is done inside). The floors are gorgeous! Absolutely changed the house...everything about the floors look good. I wish i could have also put these floors into the kitchen. In the future i plan to do the kitchen and will use Sid at that time for certain. I have no qualms about recommending this company to anyone and everyone.
