I needed a handyman to repair wall tile in bath and install bath fixtures, both of which were challenging. Steve is not only great at problem solving, he's also very versatile. He not only fixed the tile and plumbing for the toilet, he installed the electric wiring for the bath; repaired ceiling damage from roof leak; repaired door frame in bath due to old fixture removal; repaired cracks in walls; painted interior and exterior of house; repaired and painted front porch. His work ethics are admirable. He is on time and cleans as each job is finished. I highly recommend Steve to anyone needing a handyman service! Thank you Steve and Zach!!

4J's Home Improvement wrapped my rotting, water damaged window sills And replaced one threshhold. Many of the cuts are short, and they called over the exposed wood, the nails are random and mostly in the middle, the're are different sizes, some are sunk too much, making the metal bow, most are sticking out with no caulk around them, some of the white metal has been scuffed down to the metal, the caulk job looks terrible And a lot of edges are not secured and rain can get in, defeating my whole purpose. He did 7 windows at $65 a piece and I had supplied the material...that's $455 for messy work and to still have exposed, damaged wood. So my problem will persist. The threshhold is not done correctly and we may get hurt or my dogs, trying to step out the back door, as it is too low. I told him something isn't right, but he argues that he did the same thing that was there. And for some reason, the back door wont open and close properly now, and it was just fine before the work. A total of $505 for things that aren't done correctly or neatly. It's hard to get honest work or people that take pride in their work anymore. Not at all happy. We had several other things lined up for him, but not now. We should have let him do one before we committed to the rest, and looked everything over thoroughly before we paid. handyman services shouldn't mean a little cheaper, but Junk work. He should have to come back and fix it all right.

Steve did a great job re-tiling our master bathroom. He fixed the issues that we had after buying the house. He also added crown and shoe molding in the bathroom. The only small downside was he told us he didn’t paint. We thought he meant he didn’t paint rooms. But what he meant was he didn’t paint the molding we had him install. But for the great price we paid, I didn’t mind too much to paint myself. I just wasn’t planning on doing it.

Steve showed up on time and did a very good job, would definitely hire him again.
