I trained with Erin when I was looking to lose my last bit of baby weight after having twins. Erin was phenomenal! She kept our workouts varied and had me working muscles I didn't even know existed. She helped me to stay motivated when my natural inclination to quit when I get sweaty started to kick in. Training with her was fun and informative and you can tell that she really knows her stuff! Erin is a standout trainer and has a true passion for fitness, as well as a great personality! I've had the pleasure of having her train me 3 days per week since October 2015. She comes well prepared to each session with a written workout plan, but is always flexible to change it up per my guidance. I have some major back issues which is a real challenge when working out. I still want her to push me in other areas, but be cautious when it comes to my back because I can easily throw it out and be in pain for days. Erin is always careful to see how I'm feeling and then tailors the workout accordingly. She's been fabulous at helping me to gently strengthen my back muscles, while pushing me harder in other areas. Erin has a lot of experience as a fitness instructor, as well as having a B.S. in Kinesiology and an MBA/M.S. in healthcare administration, so she really knows her stuff! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have set prices for personal training/small group training or large group training. Please contact me for details!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I don't think I have a typical process for my clients. Every client is so different. I like for our initial session to be more of a consultation. We both have to see if we're going to be a match for each other. Do your fitness goals align with what I have planned for you? Are you looking to run a 5K in 3 months? What strengths do I have to get you there? After we've decided we'll be a good team, I'll spend a couple days creating a plan for my client. Once we have a plan that we are both comfortable with , let the training begin!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have my B.S. in Kinesiology & MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park. I am a certified ACSM Personal Trainer, with additional certs that include, EXOS Performance Specialist, TRX Instructor and AFAA Group Exercise. I'm qualified to work one on one with clients or in a group setting!
