We used Brazawood to redo our deck steps that had water damage. We had a couple of hiccups with the delivery of materials and communication. However, those were all resolved promptly and I am satisfied with the quality of work once everything was finished.

We are so happy with the work that Matt did on our deck! He gave us an honest assessment of what we needed to do to maintain our deck. Areas needed to be sanded, a board needed to be replaced and it needed to be stained. We LOVE our deck and got three estimates to make sure we made the right decision. It is 13 years old and had faded. Matt suggested repairs, the color we should use and did the work 4 days later. The staining work was meticulous. If you need a new look and repairs…call Matt at Brazawood!
Matt and team did an excellent job on our deck. I'm glad he recommended that we do Trex instead of replacing our wood boards. We also had additional structural issues from water damage and Matt found us an economical alternative to ensure our deck was structurally sound. They also cleaned everything up afterwards and I appreciate the great work they did!

They did get a great job getting our deck and porch free of mold and mildew before staining. The end result was great and completely transformed the curb appeal of our house. Every interaction with Brazawood was excellent. Working with Michelle to set up an appraisal and estimate and then meeting Matt who did the work was all outstanding. Truly a 5 Star experience. the lumber pricing oscillates constantly during the year, the labour cost still maintained acordingly with the type of work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet personally so a can have an good idea of the clients preferences, it also makes it easier to present diferent solutions during the building process.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
my uncle was a carpenter for 50 years, so I just followed his path and got passionate for my job
