I am all about client experience. Not only just getting a great makeup application with quality products but allowing them to feel comfortable, confident and like they are "queen for a day" while I do it!
I love the smiling faces after the job is complete. Everyone is different so the level of "glam" requested by everyone is different. I love the client that doesn't wear a lot of makeup that wants a natural look and being able to subtly enhance features while still allowing them to look like themselves!! I absolutely love that!

Rene is amazing. Her rates are extremely reasonable. She does not have to be told to change up some things in order to make the wedding day timeline work. I had bridesmaids of varying races and ethnicities. Each one looked flawless. And me (the bride) I felt like a Queen. Simply outstanding.

Rene is excellent!! Hired her as MUA for my wedding and she did a superb job! Everyone kept commenting on our (bride + bridesmaids) glam! Her work is just perfect. She is also very pleasant and has a great personality, which is just icing on the cake! Would definitely rehire

Offically beat by Rene was absolutely amazing!!! She came to my house to do my makeup which was a SUPER PLUS. Very kind/friendly and even gave me some tips as to how to apply makeup on normal days (I'm not too makeup savy lol) Ladies if you are in the havelock/jacksonville area I would hands down recommend her. She is amazing...thanks so much again Rene. You made me look so beautiful and made my whole look complete.

Rene did an amazing job. She was Very friendly, time, she made all of my girls feel comfortable even the ones thay didn't wear makeup normally. My concern was that I had a variety of skin tones in my bridal party and she put my mind at ease quickly as she accommodated every skin tone. The majeup looked very natural but still glamorous. She was very flexible with our needs as far as time while still making sure we knew the time she would need to complete her task. I couldn't have picked a better person to trust with my wedding day. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know the client, giving as much information that I can before and during application process so that they are aware of what I'm doing. Getting looks from them in advance as well as a picture so I can know how to translate the look they want on their face and eye shape.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do a lot of self education and online classes to keep up with the latest makeup trends to develop my craft even more and take it to the next level. I have also taken several classes with celebrity makeup artist that are currently working in the industry.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have ALWAYS loved makeup. I tell everyone my earliest vivid memory was being 5 or 6 years old getting ready to take pictures with my mom and being upset with her because she made me take off my lip gloss as it had a red tint to it so when I put it on a lil heavy it looked like lipstick to me.
