I found Hunter Interior Designs while interviewing for upgrades to the house I purchased 2 years ago. I had used “handyman” services in the past and got less than desirable outcomes. Geann Pereira, the owner, showed genuine interest, spending a long time with me hearing my thoughts and he gave me some awesome ideas. What sealed the deal was when Geann was on his second visit reviewing his bid with me. It included 3 coats of paint for my kitchen cabinets instead of 2 coats quoted from a competitor. He was feeling the texture of the wood when he paused, looked at me, and said, “I want to do these cabinets”. DONE!! I also had them redo a lot of my “handyman” messes. I wish I had found them 2 years ago. Among his team includes one that specializes in cabinets who made my kitchen, that had multiple layers of paint and grease, look new again. Several are excellent painters and the young woman that converted the popcorn to smooth ceilings did an impeccable job and it really brought life into the rooms. I wanted beams installed in my vaulted living room. Geann gave me two options, one of which saved a day or longer of preparation due to the configuration of my walls. Mine now has a unique look and I call it my chalet room. They found some repairs needed on the roof that had been re-roofed in 2022. They were repairing the chimney when they discovered I had a water leak and now had rotten wood. They rebuilt the chimney along with a few other fixes, and you would never know there had been an issue. Geann ensures that all the materials needed for the day have arrived and his team can work without interruption. They are all very personable and work diligently from 8-6. The daily prep is time consuming, but the entire work area, interior and exterior has been cleaned and tools packed up before they leave. Geann reviews their work and gives praise or if it didn’t pass, it will be corrected. Summary: I found my go to for all home improvements in Hunter Interior Designs, LLC
