About
No Treats, No Clickers, No Shock Collars, No Gimmicks ™
The Always Faithful Dog Training method aims to help you understand your dog's language, which we refer to as Leadership Dog Training.
As pack animals, dogs naturally seek to follow a leader. Our leadership-focused techniques empower you to become that pack leader.
Common dog behaviors such as pulling on the leash, jumping, barking, digging, and not paying attention are indicators that your dog is trying to take the lead. Our private in-home lessons will promptly address these behaviors and equip you with the skills needed to sustain your leadership.

I recently had the pleasure of enrolling my two dogs in the Basic Obedience Package at Always Faithful DogTraining of Lake Norman, and I can't recommend them enough! From the start, the trainers were incredibly knowledgeable and tailored each of the four in-home lessons to meet the unique needs of my dogs. They took the time to understand our specific challenges and goals, which made the training feel personalized and effective. The package covers five essential commands: Heel, Sit, Stay, Come, and Down. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my dogs picked up these commands with the trainers' clear guidance and positive reinforcement techniques. It was incredibly rewarding to see them respond!Additionally, the training provided valuable tips on house training, crate training, and socialization, as well as addressing common behaviors like nipping and jumping. The trainers equipped me with practical strategies to manage these behaviors, which has made a noticeable difference in our day-to-day lives. What I appreciated most was the emphasis on making the training process enjoyable for both me and my dogs. The trainers created a fun and engaging atmosphere, and that really motivated my dogs to learn and grow.Overall, I highly recommend Always Faithful DogTraining of Lake Norman to any dog owner looking to build a solid foundation of obedience and strengthen their bond with their furry friends. Thank you for both empowering us and making training a wonderful experience!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are determined by the number of lessons performed. We offer a 10% discount to active military, police, or fire department employees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule an in-home assessment to understand the goals of our client with their dog. Once we complete the assessment we suggest how to approach the lessons and schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All trainers are trained by our Master dog trainer. Our Master dog trainer has trained over 10,000 dogs and each trainer must meet a minimum qualification of dog handling with a senior trainer, prior to training on their own. We also receive on-going education and support from our Master trainer to guide our methods for any unfamiliar behavioral issues we need to address with our clients' dog.
