I noticed a small leak behind my hot water heater in the garage. Figuring I should replace the 13 year old hot water heater at the same time I called Water Heater Experts.John G. the owner came to my home in person to assess the job. I was very impressed with the person and the work for the following reasons:- explained all the options regarding the repair as well as the water heater- advised preventative actions that will save money in the long run- taught me at the water meter how to tell if a leak exists- discounted me several hundred dollars due to a scheduling glitch- called water remediation company on my behalf once we could see the water damage behind the sheetrock- used copper instead of Pex for some critical pipe runs, which is harder to find today (see picture)- was meticulous about his work area and cleaning up after himselfYou could tell John G. took pride in his work. As the owner he needs to, and it showed. Any future plumbing or water heater needs will be with Water Heater Experts.

Everything went very well. The initial consultation helped us to understand what needed to be done. When it came time for the work to be completed, the old unit was replaced with the new tankless. Also, John, who helped us, made sure that other issues in the house were taken care of, to ensure peak efficiency, and longevity of the new unit.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a flat rate company. We offer a 5% discount up to $300 off for all military, first responders & teachers. We also offer an "apples 2 apples" low price guarantee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We need your full name, address, email and cell number to add you as a client to our database. Then we can email you a detailed quote, after a 10-15 minute conversation or we can schedule a time to come out and take a look.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
NC state P-1 licensed in plumbing & gas.
