We've had JStar do partial remodels of two different bathrooms, and were very pleased both times. The tile work was done exceptionally well, and I really appreciated Tim's ability to problem solve and come up with reasonable solutions to some pretty difficult issues. We already have another project planned with JStar.

Tim did a tremendous job with all the updates I made to my home. From the start of the project he offered recommendations and creative suggestions to improve what I was planning to do. He remodeled three bathrooms, added a wall for my office- and added some very nice additional touches (shelving and inset for display). Tim also built a deck, including a creative solution to decking near the hot tub/master panel. Aside from beautiful craftsmanship, Tim is very neat and keeps the workspace as clean and neat as it can be. As we made minor changes to the project, we agreed on cost and he would provide a periodic status invoice. Very easy going and nice professional with outstanding quality and service.

Tim is very knowledgeable and attentive to detail. He does excellent work and is competitive in his pricing. He performed repair and replacement for water damage around my front porch soffit area. He also replaced a light fixture and painted the area around the area. I would hire him again and found his work ethic, timelessness, and end product to be excellent.

I was very impressed with how quickly Tim started the multi-faceted project at my home. In a matter of two days, he repaired and replaced several pieces of damaged siding and handrails on my porch. He was extremely kind, very communicative about his progress, and over all did a fantastic job. I wish that I had found Tim when I bought the house, instead of when I was selling the home.

I have flat rats for specific tasks that can vary depending on the request.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is to schedule a meet with customer to walk thru the project and make sure all requests are fully understood. Customer then receives a detailed written estimate for review
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 18 years working in the construction industry and 12 of that as owner of JStar Construction. I've had OSHA industry standards courses and extensive project management training
