FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We focus on creating value for our customer. We never take our projects at face value, we investigate building practices as well as building technologies to protect our customers bad or negative results, like wood floors buckling a year after the job is complete, or saging floors becuase of the code was met but additional factors should have been considered like moisture in the crawl space. With that said, or overhead is low and processes are streamlined to give very competitive pricing. Our prices are never the lowest or the highest but reflect a great value for our customers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We try to work with our customers and meet their needs as much as possible. Projects vary but initially we listen to customer needs , advise , then determine scope of the project. So 1st we schedule an appointment for inspection/measurements and introduce the customer to our company values and skill levels. 2nd we provide a detailed estimate and approximate time of completion. Then we would write a contract defining the scope of work , pricing, payment plan, and a start and end date of the project. Its that simple.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We as a company are constantly in continuing education. We take several classes at wake tech for a wide range of subjects. We also attend code continuing education to keep up with the constant code changes. There are lunch and learns that we attend on various building codes. We also subscribe to several monthly magazines like Remodeling , Design and Architecture .
