- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For portrait sessions, there is a $250 retainer due at booking. This fee holds your date and time for the session. For weddings, there is a $500 retainer. The remainder of the balance must be paid 30 days prior to your wedding date. Monthly payment plans are available.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is as easy as 1, 2, 3! 1) At the In-person consultation, we’ll discuss your vision for the session. You can also see samples of my product line, and ask any questions you have about us working together. If you’re ready to schedule your session or book your wedding at the meeting, I’ll have a contract ready to sign and I’ll be able to collect your retainer then. 2) At your session, it’s my job to make you look good! I use a combination of traditional and candid imagery to create your custom collection of images. 3) At the selection appointment, we’ll meet to view your images for the first time. You’ll purchase only what you love. I’m happy to guide you through designing something beautiful for your walls. From here, we’ll both anxiously await delivery day!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been photographing families since 2014. With my recent relocation to Raleigh, I’ve relaunched my business to also include wedding photography. I am happy to share sample images upon request.
