I constantly research and consult with conservators and other professionals in my field. I also belong to and participate in a variety of professional associations in the restoration and transit industries.

Look for the number of years in business (I have almost two decades) and ask for references or photos of their work.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That is a non-licensed profession with some good and qualified providers as well as many unqualified and unprofessional players that can quickly destroy your belongings if you are not careful.
