Jay was fantastic. From the initial request; he responded within minutes and came the next day to view the job and provide a quote. He then arrived early or on time on the days he said he would, work diligently throughout the day, picked up additional materials without any additional service charge aside from the material itself, and was more than happy to include small extra areas of work to the original request. He even came an extra half day without additional cost because "that's the work I told you I would do." Amazing work. Amazing professionalism. Amazing result. Jay was great to work with. We had some specific wood rot areas on the outside of our home that needed repair, and Jay was very prompt to respond to my inquiry on Thumbtack. He scheduled a time to come out to look at things so he could finalize an estimate. At our request, he did an inspection of our whole home's exterior, finding a number of other areas of wood rot needing attention, which we hadn't even noticed (but were very easy to see once he pointed them out). We asked him to include these in our quote. Jay provided a detailed estimate, breaking out the costs for labor and materials. He showed up right on time to do the work, and worked hard for two days getting everything done. The final invoice contained an itemized list of all materials and their costs, which were less than the estimate for materials, so that was a pleasant surprise. We were very pleased with the quality of repairs he did, and will definitely be using him again in the future. He is going to be working on several of our neighbors' homes as well. Thanks again!

I am very happy with Jay Lucas and the repair and construction of my new deck. I recently purchased a home and the rot and wear and tear to the pre existing deck was much worse than noted by the inspectors. I reached out to Jay on thumbtack. He was punctual and professional. We reviewed the deck’s deficiencies and he was able to give me accurate estimate on materials and labor. He communicated with me consistently through text as I had a lot of questions. On very short notice, Jay was able to get composite decking from multiple stores (receipts were provided) despite the supply shortages. Receipts were provided and the cost of labor never increased despite the project having some slight set backs and taking a little longer than expected. He disposed the old rotted deck materials, repaired multiple substructures (stairs and a rotted joist), painted and repaired the wood lattice and storage door, and even gathered and tossed the rotting wood/debris that the previous owners so unkindly left for me. He also cleaned up all the excess materials when the job was done. Finally and most importantly, he created a GREAT deck. I’m thrilled to have a wonderful looking trex deck with a cocktail rail.

I do have a standard pricing system however each job varies tremendously. I will give electronic quotes, but NO QUOTE WILL BE GUARANTEED UNTIL I HAVE SEEN THE JOB IN PERSON. I do offer in-person free estimates so our company encourages you to take advantage of this opportunity. All of the quotes I give DO NOT include materials unless explicitly stated otherwise in my initial response to you. Please send pictures of your issue if possible.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I really like for the customers to give us a call and discuss what they are wanting done. I will then set up a free consultation at your home to provide a quote free of charge.
