I came to DaQuawn with a blank new home and zero vision. What I got back was a masterpiece.

DaQuawn at Coleman Design Company. He completely transformed my downstairs living room, kitchen, and dining area with all new furniture, paint, countertops, and appliances—it truly feels like a brand new place. He took my original bright red and neutral gray color palette and elevated it into a rich, deep, and sophisticated look, while incorporating my perspictures and art.
DaQuawn is friendly, warm, and really listens. He was patient and helpful while working with me through a few back-and-forths to find the right couch and was always accessible throughout the process. I will absolutely use Coleman Design Company again and highly recommend them.

We’re so happy with how our home turned out! We wanted a mix of modern and traditional style, and the design and placement for the rooms really brought that vision to life.
Each room feels balanced — clean and fresh, but still warm and inviting. The living room is cozy and functional , the bedrooms are peaceful, and the dining area is both stylish and traditional. We love how everything flows together, yet each space has its own charm.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Hopping on a call, getting to know the client
better. Scheduling a time to come and view the space to better understand what the client is looking for. Creating a Design Board, showcasing my ideas for the space. Finally, kicking off the project by ordering anything that is needed and having conversations with contractors or handyman.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was young, my grandmother always had interior design magazines lying around. Occasionally I would flip through and begin to realize how much I loved the field. Fast forward to high school. For many years, I decorated my mothers home for the holidays, and in general moved things around that made more sense to me aesthetically speaking. After college many friends asked if I could help with decorating their homes and then I realized that I should start my own interior design studio.

Individuals of all ages, who love eclectic, mid-century modern and somewhat traditional styling.
