- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our therapist choose trainings at a minimum of 20 hours per year that are specific to the needs of children, adolescents and families.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our licensed therapist have made a choice to work with children, adolescents and families. If you ask most of us the reason, it is the satisfaction of knowing that once you've helped a child, they are much likelier to thrive even as adults.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do not be timid about interviewing your therapist prior to making an appointment to ensure that it is a good fit. Most therapists will be more than willing to spend enough time talking with you on the phone before the appointment for this reason. The relationship that you have with your therapist is one of the most crucial components for positive outcomes.
