I enjoy helping others to better understand troublesome topics and working cooperatively to improve their skills, so that they're equipped to solve complex problems on their own. I'm patient, yet excited, when it comes to tutoring and guiding students through the self-learning process. I love witnessing the rewarding "Ah-ha!" moment of clarity! I can help you master the basics of your class of choice and improve your confidence in approaching new and complex problems, all the while having an enjoyable time. My cheerful, warm, friendly attitude and my ability to empathize with others and gauge their comprehension are important factors in striving to be an effective tutor and role model. My rate is $20/hr for the first hour of a week and then $15/hr for any additional hours that week. I care about your comfort and convenience and am flexible with day, time, and location.
