Introduction: I am a 3rd generation piano tuner with a passion for hearing finely tuned pianos I've tuned for well known performers such as Smokey Robinson, Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Air Supply, Frank Sinatra Jr. and Hank Williams Jr. to name a few. I also maintain pianos for Playmakers Repertory Company UNC and North Carolina State University. I've worked on pretty much all brands of pianos over the years including Kawai, Yamaha, Steinway & Sons, Petrof, Baldwin, Mason & Hamlin, Kohler & Campbell, Knabe, Bösendorfer and Schulze Pollmann. Wow! The life of this piano has been restored! After Bill’s initial assessment, he determined it had been at least 20 or 30 years since the last tuning. He spent over an hour carefully tuning every string twice to ensure perfect pitch and relative harmonics. I look forward to using him to tune this piano for years to come!

We had Bill out to tune our 1980's era Yamaha upright that had been mistreated by its previous owners. He responded incredibly quickly when we first reached out and was really flexible about scheduling. Bill arrived early for the appointment and had no problem finding our house that's not visible from the street. He made a thorough assessment of the piano and found it to actually be in decent shape inside. In short order he had it sounding great and even fixed one minor mechanical issue with one of the hammers. Will definitely have him back to keep it in tune as the seasons change!
