Introduction: We have three locations in North Carolina, North Raleigh, Cary, NC, Garner NC where we provide outstanding, personalized service to our students and families at an affordable rate. We only hire CERTIFIED TEACHERS and Teaching Professionals who work one-on-one with our students and communicate with their classroom teachers to ensure progress. In our centers we help our students to improve their grades without tutoring becoming a financial burden to our families. We see improvements first-hand when it comes to our students' grades. We enjoy seeing our students grades go from failing to PASSING. Our program WORKS and we have 10 Amazing years to show for it!!!

Kim, Thank you so much for the service you are providing at BLC. When you confirmed to me that your staff consisted of educators currently in the school system, that reassured me that your location was the perfect match for my daughter. Your staff knows the school curriculum and what my daughter needs to have a successful 3rd grade year. Since October I've seen progression and as recent as December my daughter received a level 4 on her Case21 reading. Thank you for going above and beyond by ensuring you and your staff are in constant contact with the teacher(s) as well as being available to attend face to face parent/teacher conference meetings if needed. We are looking forward to the EOG study and camp out sessions. There's more work to be done, but I'm confident we well meet our goals for this school year with the help of BLC! Thank you!

My daughter attended Burke throughout the 5th grade. She was an "average student" in her grades prior to attending. However, she was "gifted" since she was a grade ahead in school and I really wanted her to be labeled as AIG. Burke provided the perfect level of academic enrichment/enhancement. My daughter scored a "5" on her Math EOG by the end of 5th grade and a "4" in Reading. She attended 2-3 days per week and has continued to excel in middle school.

Our staff is comprised of Wake County Teachers, who retain their professional certifications in order to remain in the classroom.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a parent who needed help with my the 4th & 10th grade children. I was looking for a company who wouldn't just give my children some worksheets on the computer, but would break every lesson down in a way that they could understand and learn what was needed to be successful. We found The Burke Learning Center and it has fit the bill.
