Hired on Thumbtack

I had a wonderful experience with Adam. He was very punctual and professional. He arrived on time and was very diligent in doing the jobs that he was hired to do. He asked me questions as to how I wanted the job done and did everything to fully give me the value for the jobs that were completed. He was even available when I had a small project that he wasn’t originally hired to do. I truly appreciate him and he does excellent work . He also gave me valuable feedback for completing some projects that I was doing independent of him. I will definitely continue to hire him as my handyman.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve been working with my hands my whole life. My father had a full wood shop in our garage when i was growing up, so I was fortunate to have access to lots of tools and equipment. I rehabbed my first house back in 2008 where I began learning lots of different trades.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently rebuilt and restored some steel shed doors and they came out great. The doors cost over $500 new and were destroyed during a storm. I was able to rebuild the internal frame, bang out countless dents, sand and remove rust and rotted patches of metal, and used bondo to patch the holes. After sanding and painting both doors and all of the hardware, I installed them on my clients shed and they look great, for a fraction of the price of purchasing new doors.
